Dr. Thomas Bircher is a 1984 graduate of Illinois Weselyan University with a bachelor of Biology degree.  He graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1989 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.  After graduation he worked in private practices in Quincy and Washington, IL, and on staff at the childrens dental clinic of the Peoria City/County Health Department.  He completed a General Practice Residency in Dentistry through SIU in 1992 and has been practicing in Smithton since then.

Dr. Meg Bircher graduated in 1988 from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a bachelor of Biology degree.  She is a 1991 graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.  She also completed one year Residency in General Dentistry in 1992.  Dr. Meg was in private practice in O'Fallon, IL for five years before joining her husband in Smithton in 1997.
